As we continue to dive into spring and get our fair share of rain, thunderstorms and fresh blooms…I want to ask my friends/bloggers, what is your favourite thing about the season?
I will start off…I love how the earth smells after rain and also right before rain…I love seeing the fresh green grass…I don’t always like a heavy downpour… especially if I am driving but I love sleeping to the sound of it 🙂 Alright these were just a few things…I hope to see many more of what you love in the comment section 🙂

Rain, rain and more rain…with sprinkles of sun. I find the rain very calming.

And our friendship was getting off to a fine start, now this….haha 😀 As I type, my D-backs are 1 game behind your Rockies. During Spring Training I enjoy catching Rockies games here in the Cactus League. The Diamondbacks and Rockies share the gorgeous Salt River Fields http://www.saltriverfields.com/.
May 4, 2015 at 6:51 pm
haha oops…I was at the Coors Field last year to see the game between the two and Rockies had won :p I am not a big baseball follower but catch it now and again…I did not know about their training at the Salt River Fields…that’s great…regardless of who wins I have a good feeling about our new friendship 🙂 🙂
May 4, 2015 at 7:10 pm

Looking up to the sun and actually feeling warmth on my face, and the sound of the rain lulls me to sleep, except if there is a good lightning/thunder storm, then I am sitting by the window, watching ❤
May 4, 2015 at 5:19 pm
Nice, it is raining right now and I am feeling your words ❤ Thank you so much for sharing Dorinda!
May 4, 2015 at 5:15 pm
Watching the first new seedlings come up in the garden… the symphony of birds… the goldfinches stopping in the yard during their migration, sometimes 40 or 50 at a time, when the first dandelions are blooming, and at a distance, when they take off, it seem like half of the dandelions have suddenly decided to fly… magical!

A beautiful gift that comes with spring for me and is without a doubt one of my favorite things is the music of nature. The earth comes alive…the trees begin to yawn as they wake and stretch…the bees begin to buzz around, but the beauty I long for, the songs of the toads outside my window as they call out…my meditation pond becomes filled with energy. Spring is indeed beautiful! Peace be yours my dear friend. ~Matthew

A birthing of a new season with the shroud of winter death being washed away by the warm spring rain. Delicate flowers, leaves and blades of grass spring forth in newness and vibrancy.
