It was you…
always you,
who could scatter my deepest thoughts
in the wind,
and draw me in,
with your smile.

The morning breeze against your face,
cleanses the worries off your mind,
As you see the sky smile,
without a trace,
of the storm that passed by.

When you smile,
my heart teeters on the edge of logic,
fluttering like a wild butterfly following the sun,
when you smile.

Hello Everyone,
Amidst these dark times, it’s hard to remember things that still make us smile…but I feel now more than ever we should share some positivity…I was in a funk today, nervous about what’s going on around the world having my family scattered all over…but then I noticed my son drawing (read scribbling) for the first time and it made me smile… all the little things like this are precious…I would love to hear what made you smile today in the comment section! Let’s keep looking for that rainbow behind the clouds!

Happy World Smile Day everybody!

He smiled in his sleep,
and her heart skipped a beat…
after hours of cradling,
and singing lullabies offbeat,
to a crying little human,
who didn’t want to sleep…
shook his rattle,
louder than his shriek,
while playing hide and go seek,
who threw up on her arm,
after his meal
and babbled as though
he could speak…
During his bath,
A moment she wished she could steal,
And store away…
Just like now, when he smiled in his sleep.
