Some days she rushed away
her mind distracted
in a jumble of thoughts…
but there were days when she waited…
waited for the sun to dip low in the horizon
the colors to change in the sky
to let her heart feel
the evening breeze
watch the trees be kissed by dusk’s glow
as she let her imagination fly…
and those days her smile appeared on her face
without denying the truth
she felt inside.
In response to the wonderful prompt by my friend Sue Vincent. #WritePhoto Dusk
