Hello Everyone,
My heart is saddened to see what continues to go on in this world…but we must continue to find hope and spread peace and do what we can to restore the love and peace in humanity.
I just wanted to remind you all that #PoetsforPeace collaboration initiated by my friend Michael and hosted here at forgottenmeadows is still open. We have over 85 contributions from around the world and I am amazed by the powerful messages shared. Let’s continue to unite together to spread peace… to join simply add your piece in the comment section of the collaboration post. Please share #poetsforpeace and watch this collaboration grow.
My friend Brad has also started a #peacechallenge, and I hope you join his effort and together we all stand strong behind peace.
Below is my contribution for both challenges.

A wonderful and powerful place when writers combine for the hope for peace. We must seek peace even we feel small and hopeless. A old Native American saying. “Put your foot into the stream and you create a movement of water that could expand to a hurricane of voices/people for peace and calm. “

Writers for peace. Peace and calm is my dream. I want my children to not fear war and separation. Will take a million writers to write their song for peace and calm.

Hi, I am so excited about this collaboration effort. I would like to be part of it. I’m not sure how, though. I posted my poem on my blog verabez.wordpress.com and shared it on Facebook and Twitter as you requested we do. Is there anything else I should do that I might be missing?
