It’s been a while since I have done one of these but thought it was a good time to do a poetic collaboration on things that make us happy. Could be a piece of toast, a beautiful day or a kind gesture…I think we need to see more of these during these times…
If you are new to my blog you can see an example of a previous collaboration via this link. Everyone is welcome to participate and I will add your contribution in the order they are posted. You can post your piece in the comment, please ensure to post the actual text not just a link in order to be considered. You can post multiple times. Hateful language will not be tolerated and will be promptly removed if posted. The collaboration will be open until 10 pm MST April 30, 2022. As usual, I will start it off, and I hope many of you will join me in making this yet another beautiful collaborative effort!

As we wrap up spring and head towards summer, I thought I would do another collaboration. We all have times when we wish for one more moment, one more second, one more song, just once more and this collaboration is on that theme. If you haven’t participated in any of my previous collaborations before, you can see an example via this link. Everyone is welcome to participate and I will add your contribution in the order they are posted. You can post your piece in the comment, please ensure to post the actual text not just a link in order to be considered. You can post multiple times. Hateful language will not be tolerated and will be promptly removed if posted. The collaboration will be open until 10 pm MST June 30, 2018. As usual, I will start it off, and I hope many of you will join me in making this yet another beautiful collaborative effort!
When the moon hangs low, And you let go, of the restraints in the heart… finding magic, in the distant glow
of the stars,
lost in nostalgia, once more.
Hold me closer once again, gently wrapped in your embrace, under the starry sky where once we stood enchanted by the playful tunes of spring music and the soulful rhythm of oceanic waves. Let’s once again, delve into the rhymes of oneness and warmth, for in poetry we will rediscover the lost fragments of our love — a love that is sealed for eternity.
When there is plenty of time Who cares about a minute But how precious is a single moment An embrace Another touch of a hand Only one more kiss When the one you love is out of sight And there is plenty of time Between the both of you
I’d like to hold on This moment When you wake up and smile When your skin touch my skin When your sleepy eyes find it hard To adjust to daylight When you rest between my arms Peaceful, serene and calm I’d like to hold on These precious minutes Mother and son bonding time
When you bath in that silvery moonlight it slowly imbues you with its ambrosial touch so divine when all the pain and anguish get stripped off from your soul you are again born as nubile once more
Does she know How lucky she is To be loved by a man More gentle, more compassionate, more selfless Than any man born of woman— Does she know? Can she see What he endures at her hand— Apathy, neglect, ingratitude, Assuming he will always be there for her? And he will Because he loves her With a love she does not deserve. Does she know?
Does she know How much I love him, And how I long once more to stand Before him, take him in my arms at last, and fill the void, Make him the center of my universe— Does she know? Would she change if she could see How she has left him unprotected? Though he never will betray her, Nor could I demand it of him, For to yield to selfish pleasures Would be to fail. Love never fails. Does she know?
I just wanted a place to stay And when i rethink of it i never chose to stay here with you You are still my favorite human and i still try to show you even when you leave me outside without a warm blanket in the rain
If i could change things i would be in that chair beside the chimney I would stand on my back hinds and talk superiorly If i could change things i would leave you to starve when i get drunk and angry I would stop cleaning your pen at will
If i could change things i would sell your babies or kill them for my meal daily I would make you feel what i feel when i know the slaughtere’s car is the one waiting for me If i could change things i would call you names when you hurt me mistakenly I would raise that whip, make you cry and obey me submissively I would cage you, separate you from your family You would know what it is to be called Animal

EVERYDAY IS A DIFFERENT DAY
The sun rise every day, the sun sets everyday we wake up every day, we sleep everyday everyday is a different day but there’s so many of similarities in everyday every day we breath, every day we cease every day we please we please to get what we need, to do what we want we fight every day from the world, from ourselves sometimes we accentuate ourselves sometimes we conceal ourselves it’s a long road, we could win, we could loose increment and decrement can happen everyday and every day we are different we are something which we had never been we have what we didn’t have from the sunlight to moonlight maybe, the breeze blows us away everyday we do so much similar but we are different everyday everyday is a different day
The wind blowing my hair, caressing my red blemishes. The sun making me squint my eyes, making me yearn for my cat-shaped shades. The rustle of leaves, the pile of brown leaves, which gets grind by my cycle wheels. The chirping of sparrows and the occasional birds that take flight in front of my eyes. Once more, I stand in the middle of it all, to take it all in with peace and glint in the eyes.

I land on my forgotten dreams,
from the lost window of my mind,
as they drift away to far off places,
leaving no traces behind…
Trying to remember what I’ve forgot
To forgot what I remember
My mind plays with me
Or is it other way around?
Scared, I turn to my heart
Silent
My heart has no need to play with words
Thoughts and images
I ask a question not needed to be asked
“Help me?”
Pulsing it soothes me with the primeval song
And I know
I know my dream.
I return here
for a moment
to this mysterious place
that for so long seemed
so far away
Years together
I have been waiting for you
Succumbing to the pain
I look through the window pane
For a moment, my thoughts stick on the space between us
Not realizing space is meaningless
We separate ourselves by emotion, culture, experience
Yet are only so far apart as a moment of thought, connecting our spirits
Distance is no match for my memory of you
Your smell, your form, the delicate way you turn your eyes
In my direction, your touch…
And my anticipation of your return shows
In the path I’ve worn, leaving pieces of my heart
On this window sill and the doorstep and the steps between
Oh, how I long to step out
walk free
I’ve been locked inside this room for eternity
The fear I know is only in my mind
yet I can’t break free
So I will look out the window of opportunity
and put off my decision
till another day
Move on, move on,
Oh sad and lonely soul.
Your eyes are athirst
For the water in a mirage;
In truth, the jug was never as large
As you recall.
As thus, you’re longing and lingering
For a false love;
For sooth, it was never there at all.
Look ahead, look ahead,
Be careful, lest you fall again,
For the figurine in your dream
Will crack and tumble down,
It will break and scatter on the ground.
Alas, it’s the shards of glass to penetrate your heart
For wanting what was never yours.
Arise, move on, move on,
Oh dreamer of the night.
observing the horizon, with hopeful eyes
awaiting for a New dawn after this tormenting night
