I lay

listening to the quiet sound

of summer rain

tapping on the window

of my heart,

writing poetry on earth.

Sun Kissed

Kissed by the golden hue of the sun

the sky stretches from sleep

as far as eyes can see…

blushing red,

it greets the sun

with a smile.
