In the soft kisses of the sun…
In the cool shade of the lost moors,
Butterflies follow your wandering soul,
with your eyes watching the sky unfold,
in the soft kisses of the sun.

That day…
The world forgot to be kind,
and you forgot to be patient,
and in between figuring out who you were,
and where you came from,
and why you were here,
the clouds of life,
poured on you,
and your heart cried with the rain…
but,
when it was over,
and though the world did not change,
you felt lighter and soul felt cleansed,
and you noticed the smiles among the frowns,
and drenched in what was your pain,
you found that little piece of joy again,
you followed the rainbow of life.
You Let Go…
You let go
of your gains and losses
and walked with your dreams
stopping to wonder …
at the colours of the trees
the serenity of the cool breeze
the smell of the flowers
And there were no minutes or hours
that bound you…
To go on the adventure
of your heart
to follow
what you always wanted to start
but was held back
by some mindless banter of your mind
which was trying to define
who you were
and what you were meant to be
So you let go…
and became free…
to walk your journey
with your heart full of dreams
and eyes full of imagination
of where you could go…

Golden Serenity
Half of our hearts splattered in the sky
while the other half stood still
mesmerized
in the evening light
fallen between you and I
as the colours touched our eyes
we dipped our minds in golden serenity.

You let go
of all your ‘whys’
as you stand
beneath the skies
and let the rain
pour on you.
For sometimes
no matter how hard you try
your tired wings just won’t fly

Falling,
under enchantment,
of nature unfolding,
capturing sunset on leaves,
Fall.
Flying
On dark nights,
when the moon sleeps,
to the star’s lullaby…
