Humbled

They said life was complicated

Complicated to decipher  between what was real and what laid in your mind

Mind that was this unique organ where you could fast forward or rewind

Rewind thoughts of the heart

Heart that laid distracted chasing musings

Musings that floated on the simple breeze

Breeze that you felt with the first and last light of the sun

Sun that peeked through the grey clouds of earth

Earth that rotated and revolved, a small planet of the huge universe

Universe that humbled you back to appreciating the simplicity of humanity.

Illuminate

Sometimes when the journey seems long

and life demands you to be strong…

You look at the stars,

and think about their light travelling so far

in twinkling waves of light years…

just to illuminate the skies

for our eyes

humbling us

with its’ existence…

and the journey does not seem so long

anymore.

Mesmerized

by the shades of the skies

you stood, barefoot,

watching sunrise,

humbled,

to be

human.

Limitless

You are limitless,

in your reach to the sky,

standing tall,

with strong roots of humble beginnings.  

Humbled

I am humbled,

by your silent strength,

that keeps me flying,

in your shadow,

just to rise above it,

someday.
