There is no better feeling
than to lay with your daydreams
on the green green grass
and listen to the bird’s sing
as the cool breeze brushes your face.
In response to daily prompt: Green
There is no better feeling

In response to daily prompt: Green
Do you see what I see when I look at the grey skies
Do you hear what I hear when I hear the birds cry
Do you feel what what I feel when I touch the green grass
Does your heart skip a beat when precious moments pass
Do you smell what I smell when I breathe in the earth
Does your heart connect with mine even when we are apart
This is the fourth poem as part of the Five Photos Five Series Challenge:“Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge”. I was challenged by my friend Staci at https://stacilys.wordpress.com/ .
For this challenge I nominate my friend Dorinda at http://dorindaduclos.com/
Enchanting sunshine
on my crooked thoughts
of imagination
lost
in the open fields
of wildflowers
catching fireflies
of slanted dreams
resting by the cool water
of the calm river
eyes rest
on the green grass
of the forgotten meadows’
sparkling,
with enchanting sunshine.
Spring times ahead…please click on original thanks 🙂
Without the restriction of 140 characters,
the birds tweet about the glory of spring,
as nature retweets a million folds,
With the colourful flowers and rain songs it sings,
on the green green grass of the world.

Splatter of gold on the green grass,
shining in the morning light,
sunshine falling.

Sometimes,
as we race against time
figuring out
what is yours and what is mine
we fall behind
on noticing,
what matters…
We forget to feel…
the fresh morning breeze
that puts our heart, at ease
forget to rest our eyes
on the clear blue skies,
forget that in this world
we all move homeward,
toward our hearts,
together…
Sometimes,
as we race against time
figuring out
what is yours and what is mine
we fall behind
on noticing,
what matters…
we forget to say,
Thank you!
