You stood,
at the edge of your thoughts
staring at the terracotta sky,
wondering why,
they fly, away.

Erase the boundaries
Change the rules and paradigms
Don’t Fly, soar
Make history
Trying the impossible,
Live.
Inspired by a comment made by my friend Erika : ” the heart would never have problems to grow and expand… until the mind sets limits!” Thank you again for the inspiration my friend!
You let go
of all your ‘whys’
as you stand
beneath the skies
and let the rain
pour on you.
For sometimes
no matter how hard you try
your tired wings just won’t fly
Just like
the sky isn’t always blue…
So
you clear your mind
and you let go
of all your ‘whys’
as you stand
beneath the skies
and let the rain
pour on you.

I will carry my home with me,
in the stars I see every night…
For they hold the stories,
my grandma told me,
the walks on the beach,
with the family,
and the moment,
when my heart,
first took flight.
I will carry my home with me,
in the stars I see every night…
For when I lose sight,
of where I am,
they comfort me,
like they comforted my ancestors,
eons before I was born,
guiding them with light.
I will carry my home with me,
in the stars I see every night…
For their infinite beauty,
keeps me grounded,
no matter how high I fly,
reminding me who I am,
and where I come from,
as I sail across the sky.
I will carry my home with me,
in the stars I see every night.
