And birds sang
Against the dreamy autumn skies
Serenading earth with love.
There is no better feeling
than to lay with your daydreams
on the green green grass
and listen to the bird’s sing
as the cool breeze brushes your face.
In response to daily prompt: Green
Sitting on a hilltop
Early morning breeze pass by
fingers resting on the wet green grass
Eyes watching the sunrise
Slowly, but gently as it pops
into the crimson red sky
The smell of flowers drift to the nose
fresh pure life knocking at the door
Mouth is shut, as if to keep this a secret…
though the lips form a smile
when the ears hear the birds
chirping nearby
Waking up the rest of the world…
into the mystery of nature.
Another poem from my teenage diaries series.
Spring times ahead…please click on original thanks 🙂
Without the restriction of 140 characters,
the birds tweet about the glory of spring,
as nature retweets a million folds,
With the colourful flowers and rain songs it sings,
on the green green grass of the world.

Quotes and Lyrics for the soul
“Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all.”
― Emily Dickinson
I never get tired of looking at beautiful pictures and so you will probably find many lists in this category in the future. I highly recommend each blogger featured on this list as their pictures speak to your heart. So Here is Photography List 4. Again all previous recommendations can be found in the recommendations category.
I have been following ‘my world on mute’ from the beginning of my journey here on wordpress and cannot say enough about Mariko’s pictures as they speak volumes for themselves. The blog is written with message to promote peace in the chaotic mind but it does a lot more. The photographs are unique and I highly recommend readers to check out this blog. 🙂
I have recently started following Sophie and am amazed at her talent as a photographer. She is from Paris and though my French is limited her photographs need no translation. They are beautiful and usually makes my heart feel lighter. I encourage everyone to check out her blog and photography. 🙂
Michael does some wonderful bird and nature photography . Each subject that he shoots speaks for itself, and is definitely a treat for the eyes. I highly recommend viewers to go see his blog. 🙂
I have been following this blog for a while and really like how this blogger sees the world in his photography. I definitely encourage my readers to go see his work and enjoy his talented photography…it definitely has an unique perspective 🙂

You and I would go for walks,
in the wee hours of dawn,
talking about little things,
like birds, chirping in the morn…
Hand in hand we would walk,
in those beautiful days,
stepping on the dry leaves,
as we walked by the lake.
I loved to see the broad smile,
that filled up your face,
when you told me stories,
of your childhood days.
I parted with you with a promise,
that we would walk again,
But you had it broken,
For you, the journey was to end.
You left me without saying goodbye,
left me with only memories to hold…
So that when I would walk again,
I would think of you some more…
Think of the birds, the trees,
and the stories that were told.
I can’t hold it against you,
though I can’t say I haven’t tried,
I was mad at you for leaving,
without saying good bye.
Well, I guess farewell wasn’t a word in your book,
You did prefer sunrise,
So I will remember the walks in the dawn,
till I see you again, and get a chance to say “Hi”
**This was written a while ago as a tribute to my grandfather ( dad’s dad) who passed away when I was fifteen. For those of you who have been following my blog, this is my other grandpa not the same one I mentioned in the post On Goodbyes and See you laters . He is my mom’s dad and is still living. Both of them are very special to me.
