Hello Everyone,

Although my blog has been award-free for a while, I could not help but accept this award from my good friend Erika Kind as not only was it unique but I loved what it stood for. Thank you very much Erika for the nomination. This is what the award is about from Erika’s post:
“This award is for bloggers who strive to write for everybody, and no matter how many viewers they get, make an impact on a reader. This award is an expression of gratitude to the nominee. It should be awarded to anybody that you choose deserves it and it doesn’t mean that they must have hundreds of followers and likes.” – Ella

If you haven’t visited Erika’s blog yet, I suggest you do so now –https://erikakind.me/ ! She is not only a published author, her words will inspire you in your daily lives and help you be the best person you can be. I always love reading her “Kind Quotes”. Thank you again Erika for the nomination:

The rules of the award as copied from Erika’s post are listed below:

The rules of this award are:

Anybody nominated can nominate eight other bloggers.
The nominee answers three questions posed by the nominator.
The questions you ask while nominating can be any three questions.
If any of the questions asked are offensive or the nominee simply does not want to answer, the nominee does not have to answer them to earn the award.
[And as Erika added: notify your nominees about their nominations at their blogs].

Here are my responses to Erika’s questions:

What do you love most about yourself?—–I love that I have the ability to imagine and be creative. I love to get lost in dreams and sometimes it is my solace from the chaos the world can impose. I like compassion and spreading happiness, and sometimes when I am being reflective ( or answering deep questions posed by my friend Erika 😀 (just kidding)) I like that about myself. 🙂
What do you love most about someone who challenged you the most? (No irony, I mean it!) ——Although, they may have shared a different perspective , I respected their tenacity.
What do you love most about your current life?—-I love that I am blessed with a loving family and friends and never have to question the love that surrounds me.

Thank you again Erika for the nomination and insightful questions. Here are my questions for my nominees:

What is your favourite autumn/fall activity?

What hurts you most?

What makes you smile?

Aaaaand drumroll please for the amazing nominees, in no particular order:

Brad

Anita

Michael

Trini

Julie

Marie

Lorrie

Stacie

This was hard as  I can easily add many more names from this wonderful community who would fit the bill; however, these nominees all symbolize the essence of this award. A few I have known from the beginning of my blogging journey and a few I have just started to get to know; however, they all embody the message behind this beautiful award and have made an impact in this community. Nominees please feel free to accept or decline this award, regardless of your choice, you are recognized in my books my friends!

Thank you again Erika for nominating me this wonderful award! Cheers to you and all the other nominees!

Much Love,

Neha

I was a bit busy this weekend so could not post this list sooner. Also, I have simply added the blogs this time without the little blurb I usually do but I really recommend my readers to go check out these wonderful writers! As usual previous lists can be found under recommendations. I love finding new and inspiring poets who take us to different places and emotions through their writing, and below are just a few of those people I chose to honour for this week :). I hope all of you check out their beautiful poetry!

1.) The Course of our Seasons

2.)  Pooky’s Poems

3.) Blog it or lose it

4.) Coffee with Noor

5.) Daily Haiku by Haiku Andy

***Note to any bloggers featured in these weekly posts, if you wish for me to remove your name from this list due to any reason please let me know, and I will do so. Also all of the excerpts featured (if featured)  are the works of the bloggers listed, they  each own the copyrights to their own piece and it is not my intention to take credit for it in anyway, hope that is clear to all readers. This is just my effort to appreciate good work. If any bloggers feel that their work has not been properly credited or should not be on the list let me know and I shall remove it. Again thank you all for sharing your beautiful work

Weekly Blog Recommendations – Poetry List 6

So I realize it is not Saturday quite yet in my part of the world, but I am sure it is Saturday somewhere in the world right?! …So here is the first rec list for this weekend. 🙂  I will probably have some more to follow throughout the weekend but for now I bring to you another set of marvellous poetesses who have captivated my heart and mind through their writing…You can find previous bloggers in the recommendation category. I am very excited to bring to you these wonderful bloggers below 🙂

1.) In the stillness…Laurie’s gentle healing notes

I just discovered Laurie a couple days ago through my good friend Line ( another wonderful poetess), and I was just left amazed by Laurie’s beautiful and gentle poetry. I highly recommend everyone to check out her blog, for it will heal your heart and sooth your mind.

2.) Petite Magique

I have been following Patti for a few weeks now and she is wonderfully talented writer who can get into the full spectrum of both dark and light poetry. She is a published writer and also a photographer but as this is a poetry rec, I am highlighting her writing more than her clicking behind the lens. I encourage everyone to check out this talented writer and I am sure you will be loving the other aspects of her blog as well.

3.) The Ark of Identity

Laura is also a published poetess who writes beautifully. Her pieces are powerful with a strong meaning. I also enjoy the responses she sometimes writes to works of other poets. I definitely recommend my readers to check out her work and read some amazing poetry.

4.) The sanctuary of my heart

I have been following Skye’s work for a while now and she is absolutely amazing! Her poetry is heartfelt and touches a chord with the reader. Some of her pieces are sometimes religious or spiritual but regardless of the religion you may follow, her message of love shines through. I encourage all my viewers to go check out this lady and her lovely poetry.

5.) Hortus Closus

Esther’s work speaks volumes about her talent, for it is soulful, powerful and beautiful all at once. She is bilingual and though I do not quite follow her other language her poetry is amazing! I highly recommend everyone to go check out the blog of this great writer!

CRÈME DE LA CRÈME AWARD

creme-de-la-creme

I am very pleased and humbled to say that I am accepting the Crème de la Crème award presented to me by the wonderful Ihsan. Thank you so much Ihsan your kind words and the nomination. If you have not already checked out Ihsan’s work please do so now as you are definitely missing out!

I know I have been very slow in responding to the awards I have been nominated for so far but I could not help but get this out faster than usual, due to the uniqueness of this award that was created by the lovely Morgan. Morgan is an amazing poetess, and again someone who I highly encourage my readers to check out. 🙂

“Simple and to the point, this Honour is awarded to ONE person. No more long lists, no more hours and hours for one post. Received by One, Given to One for being the Crème de la Crème, the Cream of the Crop, the Pick of the Litter, the Best of the Best.”  —given that fact I could not hold on to this special award and not pass it on!

Rules of the award:

• Select your Honoree and notify them. You Must Pay the Honor forward, (rather than just giving it back to the person who gave it to you.)

• Showcase their blog in the Best manner you choose.

• Include the Banner/Badge in your Post.

• Share your post with the world.

• Never forget to Thank the Person who Honored You.

So after much contemplation (and there was a lot of it, believe me… with the sheer talent I am surrounded by as you can tell from my weekly blog recs) I have decided to nominate a dear friend, I find to be kindred spirit who has inspired me from our first interaction on wordpress, through her writing and her lovely personality…and she is none other than  (drum roll) …Line! Please visit her blog now at http://pathsofthespirit.wordpress.com/ for some amazing pieces of writing that will inspire your soul and make your heart smile 🙂

CONGRATULATIONS LINE! YOU ARE   Crème de la Crème

Love Always,

Neha
