Your eyes
sets my world aflame
like the skies
at sunset,
Do you know?

I love you
even when you don’t
love yourself,
always, remember that.

My son saw his first rainbow today, and I felt a lump in my throat, as my heart filled with joy seeing him experience this magical moment. He probably won’t remember this but I hope he always looks for rainbows after rain…when the sun kisses the clouds with love.

There is an abstract displacement of sadness
open to interpretation for the mass
reading the diary of your face
opening doors that you try to keep shut…
but the wind of grief
swings them slightly
for all to take a peek
in the grey tunnels of your mind
where there is an abstract displacement of sadness.
