Contemplation of the quiet mind…
as it slowly rewinds
the cascading waves
of thoughts
falling in an infinite abyss
of feelings
that drift in your eyes
floating in the skies
of everlasting dreams
drifting with the winds
of dark storms
looming at the edge of the sea
as you fly free
in the pouring rain
of the subdued pain
of the world
floating gently
with the contemplation…
of the quiet mind.

I liked how the words flowed so easily, just like the soothing message!! It reminded me of an easy-flowing brook!
Great writing!! Thank you!

Great review of this beautiful poem! Agree with everything, Southernwriter. Also, I love the picture, Neha. It matches the themes of the poem and it also reminds me of Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Is this the location or a similar place?
