Drifting at the edge of the sea,
your heart swayed with the waves
that crashed in the caves, of the mind
in the memories that you would often rewind
when you lay with the open skies
tracing smiles on the clouds
of the faces your heart found
and loved…
drifting at the edge of the sea,
your heart swayed with the waves.

I always love the flow of your poems and their great imagery. I like the waves and the water element in this piece as they are directly connected with what the heart feels. According to psychology water is associated with our emotions. In this poem, the heart and its emotions flow and breathe together with the words of nature. It is also very beautiful how you express the memories being recalled. The presence of “the open skies” and clouds, where you are “tracing smiles” make the poem and the heart breath and find peace inside. The repetition of the two first verses at the end gives the poem great strength. Very, very beautiful. Loved it!

Striking way of using the words, really touching. I can relate to this so much, in my world of Zeensimor I have an ocean leading to an island in memory of the main characters mum, the ocean also has rocks named in memory of the father
