Hello Everyone,
As we wrap up spring and head towards summer, I thought I would do another collaboration. We all have times when we wish for one more moment, one more second, one more song, just once more and this collaboration is on that theme. If you haven’t participated in any of my previous collaborations before, you can see an example via this link. Everyone is welcome to participate and I will add your contribution in the order they are posted. You can post your piece in the comment, please ensure to post the actual text not just a link in order to be considered. You can post multiple times. Hateful language will not be tolerated and will be promptly removed if posted. The collaboration will be open until 10 pm MST June 30, 2018. As usual, I will start it off, and I hope many of you will join me in making this yet another beautiful collaborative effort!
When the moon hangs low,
And you let go,
of the restraints in the heart…
finding magic,
in the distant glow
of the stars,
lost in nostalgia, once more.

Rediscovering love.
Hold me closer once again,
gently wrapped in your embrace,
under the starry sky
where once we stood
enchanted by the playful tunes of spring music
and the soulful rhythm of oceanic waves.
Let’s once again,
delve into the rhymes of oneness and warmth,
for in poetry we will rediscover
the lost fragments of our love —
a love that is sealed for eternity.

Rays of sunlight
Kiss the mountains below
Spring says, “follow me”
Has summer, in tow
Warmer days ahead
Once more, we sigh
As the season changes
In the blink of an eye

When there is plenty of time
Who cares about a minute
But how precious is a single moment
An embrace
Another touch of a hand
Only one more kiss
When the one you love is out of sight
And there is plenty of time
Between the both of you
What can I say?
Looks like it was the best decision I ever made
To be with you
To share my happiness with you
And also my sadness
I never knew I could be this happy
When there was a time darkness was the only thing
I was able to see
You came into the darkness
With hope in your eyes
And the belief I never had
You went through the darkness for me
You did everything to keep me happy
And you won
You changed my life
In words I cannot describe
Our bond gets stronger
Day by day
My love for you doubles
And so does trust
I’m so glad you came into my life
Your presence has that soothing, calm feeling, that only a home has.
I can’t get enough of you
I want to love you inside out
I cannot imagine being away from you
I now understand what poets wrote in their poems
What actors tried to do in the love stories
I understand
I understand everything now.
The loss
Why?
Why is the world so unfair
Just when everything was falling into place,
Just when I was about to do something right,
Just when my mind was going to believe
That world is a good place after all,
It broke.
My heart broke.
My hopes were gone.
My dreams were shattered..
My mind has now turned into a dark place,
No sunshine
No hopes for a better future.
Only a demon inside.
Spreading his arms
It’s embracing my heart
Which once had a tiny ray of hope
But this hope was gone,
Was vanished
At the blink of an eye,
Because he touched it.
It’s a cruel place,
Making cruel actions
Not anyone else’s loss,
But mine.
Only mine.
It will be forever be mine
The loss.
The loss.
I’d like to hold on
This moment
When you wake up and smile
When your skin touch my skin
When your sleepy eyes find it hard
To adjust to daylight
When you rest between my arms
Peaceful, serene and calm
I’d like to hold on
These precious minutes
Mother and son bonding time
poetry copyright mahshiandmarshmallow.wordpress.com
I blow you a kiss
into the dream ridden mist
caressing the touch
we share no more
Tears tease my lips
as your soul takes a sip
my bleeding heart overflows
Together, once more

What About Me?
She’s smart, she’s fair, she’s pretty,
But what about me?
She’s handy, she’s skillful, she’s artsy,
But what about me?
She’s perfect, she has it all,
Never would you ever see her fall.
But what about me?
What about me?
What about the girl who barely sleeps?
The one who in silence cries and weeps?
Fakes a smile, a giggle, a laugh,
Every day living her life a bluff.
Underneath that mask a broken soul cries,
Help me, save me, I don’t want to die!
Despite so upon her words she chocked,
Letter per letter she stumbled yet bellowed.
Gasped for air, failed to respire,
Drowning in water, burning in fire.
Her plea for mercy was left disregarded,
Concealed beneath a cloak, remained undetected.
Overshadowed by the smart, the perfect, the pretty,
Left with a question on her lips, what about me?

Once more, we become one
Penning our thoughts and words,
Watch them flow seamlessly
Through this conduit, we call poetry.
Fortunately or unfortunately,
It will take this and probably, many more pieces
Before they put it all together and see
That the life we weave far bypasses
The containment of Earth’s narrative.

Just once more
To feel your heart
Beating close
Sharing an ocean gaze
One more second
To hold hands tightly clasped
One more moment
To just be
Us
me and you ..
are all together..
just keep few things in mind..
if you are heartbroken, its fine
if you cry, its all fine
but
never trust them again.
just cry in the heavy rain..
and yes,
never love them again..
all you will get is pain…

More gentle, more compassionate, more selfless

And he will
Because he loves her
With a love she does not deserve.
Does she know?
Does she know
How much I love him,
And how I long once more to stand
Before him, take him in my arms at last, and fill the void,
Make him the center of my universe—
Does she know?
Would she change if she could see
How she has left him unprotected?
Though he never will betray her,
Nor could I demand it of him,
For to yield to selfish pleasures
Would be to fail.
Love never fails.

Once More in the Nature’s Lap
The wind blowing my hair,
caressing my red blemishes.
The sun making me squint
my eyes, making me yearn for
my cat-shaped shades.
The rustle of leaves,
the pile of brown leaves,
which gets grind by my
cycle wheels.
The chirping of sparrows
and the occasional birds
that take flight in front of
my eyes.
Once more,
I stand in the middle of it all,
to take it all in with peace
and glint in the eyes.

THAT
That moment in time
When I knew you were mine
When every touch, every heartbeat was for me.
The words that you said
Nice things that were shown
All those “first “places we went to
Oh, for that and much more I long
I remember it all like the words to a song.
Just once more, we could be
If my heart hadn’t been deceived.

“Once More”
Once more, silent tears I cry
Once more, I pull myself up from the ground
Once more, I step forward
Once more, I swallow my screams of rage and betrayal
Once more, I find the courage
To travel onwards,
To Trust
And to Love.

Knitting Makes Me Happy
When I have nothing else to do I sit
and knit and knit and knit all day
only getting up when its time to pray
then back again to the needles to fit
I knit for babies I knit for kids
I love to mix the colours bright
I love to knit pullovers tight
and now for the hands the mitts
I find the mind involved and away
from all stress strife and things astray
I feel happy that I have the skill to make
clothes for others to keep warm and awake
for me its a reading calculating book
I see beyond the normal outlook
I see the stars rainbows in stitches
away stays sadness magic and witches
Its good to have this as a hobby
pray count and blend happiness
stay focused on The Good Scheme
Be blessed in heart smile in the dream
