Summer Rain

I lay,

listening to the quiet sound

of summer rain…

tapping on the forgotten window

of my heart,

writing poetry on earth.

Collide

And the chaos within me found balance in your arms.

Your heartbeat calmed mine

when we collided before dawn

before the nucleus exploded in the sky.
