Black Cat and Blue Sea Award

Hello Everyone,

Although my blog has been award-free for a while, I could not help but accept this award from my good friend Erika Kind as not only was it unique but I loved what it stood for. Thank you very much Erika for the nomination. This is what the award is about from Erika’s post:
“This award is for bloggers who strive to write for everybody, and no matter how many viewers they get, make an impact on a reader. This award is an expression of gratitude to the nominee. It should be awarded to anybody that you choose deserves it and it doesn’t mean that they must have hundreds of followers and likes.” – Ella

If you haven’t visited Erika’s blog yet, I suggest you do so now – ! She is not only a published author, her words will inspire you in your daily lives and help you be the best person you can be. I always love reading her “Kind Quotes”. Thank you again Erika for the nomination:

The rules of the award as copied from Erika’s post are listed below:

The rules of this award are:

Anybody nominated can nominate eight other bloggers.
The nominee answers three questions posed by the nominator.
The questions you ask while nominating can be any three questions.
If any of the questions asked are offensive or the nominee simply does not want to answer, the nominee does not have to answer them to earn the award.
[And as Erika added: notify your nominees about their nominations at their blogs].

Here are my responses to Erika’s questions:

What do you love most about yourself?—–I love that I have the ability to imagine and be creative. I love to get lost in dreams and sometimes it is my solace from the chaos the world can impose. I like compassion and spreading happiness, and sometimes when I am being reflective ( or answering deep questions posed by my friend Erika 😀 (just kidding)) I like that about myself. 🙂
What do you love most about someone who challenged you the most? (No irony, I mean it!) ——Although, they may have shared a different perspective , I respected their tenacity.
What do you love most about your current life?—-I love that I am blessed with a loving family and friends and never have to question the love that surrounds me.

Thank you again Erika for the nomination and insightful questions. Here are my questions for my nominees:

What is your favourite autumn/fall activity?

What hurts you most?

What makes you smile?

Aaaaand drumroll please for the amazing nominees, in no particular order:

This was hard as  I can easily add many more names from this wonderful community who would fit the bill; however, these nominees all symbolize the essence of this award. A few I have known from the beginning of my blogging journey and a few I have just started to get to know; however, they all embody the message behind this beautiful award and have made an impact in this community. Nominees please feel free to accept or decline this award, regardless of your choice, you are recognized in my books my friends!

Thank you again Erika for nominating me this wonderful award! Cheers to you and all the other nominees!

Much Love,

Only Yesterday…

Only yesterday,

you were collecting summer dreams…

in a fistful of sunshine

and heart full of hope,

and now you lay,

on the cool green grass

and watch them fall

in golden hues and crimson reds

like the open sky above you,

flying gently in the autumn breeze,

only yesterday…
