Today I realized,
I miss handwriting my thoughts…
The slanted “A” and the fancy “I”s,
the way my hand gripped the pen,
the smudge of ink on the side of my left hand,
as it moved left to right on the piece of paper,
a silent meditation,
without a thousand windows open in front of your eyes,
Today I realized,
I miss handwriting my thoughts

Me too though mine isn’t very good haha 🙂

I’m not always near a computer, iPad or phone, so I take that opportunity to use a pen and paper to capture that momentary inspiration. Still a great option.

It is a great option and that is wonderful 🙂 I love pens ( little obsessed actually haha) but i love the feel of writing on paper…THank you so much for dropping by ❤

My grandson in IA told me that his 5th grade class last year was the last class in his school to be taught handwriting. Isn’t that so sad? Where is the individuality going to come from? I love this poem Neha! Beautiful

Thank you so much Andy! ❤ and that is so sad!! I cannot believe it is actually happening …pen and paper has always been one my most cherished possession and to think that kids will not have the opportunity to use them is heartbreaking …Thank you so much for dropping by 🙂

As much as I like the convenience of my computer I find pen and paper take me to special places not so easily accessible through tapping keys 🙂
January 24, 2015 at 12:53 pm
O i see agree with you!!! I feel the same 🙂 Thank you so much for dropping by 🙂

Today I did some hand writing in the park…it was fantastic and so refreshing. The quickness of getting the words on screen can’t replace natural sunlight and fresh wind.
January 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm
O you said it! and I agree wholeheartedly…nothing can ever replace that! 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by 🙂

I enjoy the idea of handwritten notes and love receiving them, but my handwriting is horrible! 🙂
January 24, 2015 at 1:05 pm
Yes they are special 🙂 and mine isn’t too great either haha but it’s the thought that counts right? 🙂
January 24, 2015 at 6:17 pm
let’s hope so! 🙂
January 24, 2015 at 12:17 pm
Beautifully written 🙂 I have terrible handwriting, but you’re right, there’s something about gliding our pens across paper!
January 24, 2015 at 1:05 pm
Thank you so much Amanda 🙂 and isn’t it ? mine isn’t great either haha but I love my pens! ❤
January 25, 2015 at 7:55 am
I thought your handwriting was lovely! 🙂
January 25, 2015 at 12:32 pm
aww you’re so sweet ❤
January 24, 2015 at 3:33 pm
I simply love writing by hand…it is a form of art!! All of my poems are handwritten…I have so many journals!! ❤
January 25, 2015 at 12:40 pm
I love that! I used to have that myself but with being on the computer all day my inspiration has to be printed on the screen a lot of times…But whenever I get a chance I love to sit outside and write by hand with my favourite pen and see the ink flow on paper 🙂
January 25, 2015 at 11:09 pm
I hope you get to do it more often Neha. I don’t think I realized just how important it is to me to write with my hand until I hurt it and couldn’t do it! Hope you had a great weekend ❤
January 25, 2015 at 11:11 pm
Thank you my friend I did have a good weekend! Can’t believe it’s almost over…and yes I hope I get to do more writing too! Have a wonderful week ahead! 🙂
