Half of our hearts splattered in the sky
while the other half stood still
mesmerized
in the evening light
fallen between you and I
as the colours touched our eyes
we dipped our minds in golden serenity.

while the other half stood still
mesmerized
in the evening light
fallen between you and I
as the colours touched our eyes
we dipped our minds in golden serenity.

I love the photo and idea of being both the observer and the sky. And feel a little disjoint with the opening line splattering my heart into parts. Maybe it’s my day, where I’m feeling stretched in other uncomfortable ways. π
