  2. My Memories has flush out in the rain . So I would like to share my little bit story that last weekend I had travel in mountain range near Rishikesh India, suddenly heavy rainfalls over there and after few miles to go ahead then I found a tea shop where a old lady making a hot tea. So I have also offered a cup of tea and when I take first sip I forgot everything that where I am and I just enjoying the nature creations and behind the shop a Ganga river that’s water level too high and their breezing sounds creates so many good things in my mind, so it’s a adventurous gooseflesh feeling when you are alone and you found yourself in center of forest. So the story is not ending here….so many things happened during the journey in rainy season. !! Happy Rainy Season !!

    • O that hot cup of tea in that rain sounds marvelous!! I have never been to Rishikesh but hope to visit some day if I get the chance. Thank you for sharing your beautiful memory πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  3. I love sleeping to rain as well. I’ve written quite a bit of poetry on it as well. My most treasured memories would have to be from childhood.

My mother was not the type to say “don’t play in the rain you’ll get sick.” She encouraged us to go out and dance and splash. We would run up and down the streets playing in puddles and taking our boggie boards out for a slide. When it would rain especially hard the valleys that surrounded us would be draped in waterfalls. We would all jump in the back of my dads pick up truck and go waterfall chasing. I still do this till this day. πŸ™‚

    • Isn’t it the best? πŸ™‚ I had a great sleep last night! O that sounds like soo much fun —waterfall chasing! I think I might just get inspired from your memory to write some poetry…I love it! Thank you so much for sharing Sam! ❀ ❀

  4. Raining here too, Leha. Good day for me to go get my hair cut and that is exactly what I am doing. πŸ™‚

  5. *slaps head* Where did my brain go? I mispelled your name! Neha! Sorry!!!! (((HUGS))) Amy

  6. I’ll share one of the few stories I have about rain:
While I was exploring along the Amazon river in South America, a group of us used to ride on shallow canoes through small rivers that connect the camps and native villages. In the rainforest you can have a clear blue sky and minutes later dark clouds could move in and torrential rain would ensue, rain that is like being under a waterfall!
The canoe filled with water in a few minutes and we were fortunate to be not far from the side of the river and take shelter. In less that 20 minutes the rain was over and the blue sky looked splendid again! Thanks! πŸ™‚

    • O I can just visualize it all in my mind from your words H.J!…Your adventure along the Amazon river sounds so wonderful:) That has always been a place I want to visit at some point in my life, I hope I will make it there some day…the clear blue skies after that torrential rain sounds perfect (although I am sure it must have been crazy during the downpour!) . Thank you for sharing!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  7. Good morning, Neha! I have so many memories of rain..I love the calm it brings although some believe it is a bit chaotic with all the water splashing about. Throw in a good thunder & lightning storm and I’m in Heaven. I can sit for hours just watching the heavens take over, and there have been many times when I have. My poetry today is exactly about the rain…I hope you enjoy it πŸ™‚

    • Hi Dorinda, I can totally relate to just watching rain and the calm or chaos it may bring depending on how we are feeling πŸ™‚ I loved reading “Solace” I had read it in the morning but did not get a chance to comment but did so now…it was beautiful…thank you so much for dropping by and sharing your thoughts πŸ™‚ ❀ ❀
