thoughts from my mind to yours

What can I say…

that has not been told,

poetry,

is as old,

as the heart of the human race…

For even before words came to be,

there were poets like you and me,

writing poetry through art,

on the caves,

of their mind,

of the trees, the moon and the stars,

waiting to find,

their voice…

What can I say…

that has not been told,

poetry,

is as old,

as the heart of the human race.

  1. This is so lovely Neha! 🙂 You know, many times I feel that there are so many poets who have said so much of what I want to say so much more beautifully! 🙂 But then I remind myself that art and poetry is more about being creative, I mean the process of creating something from the soul, rather then the end result. And for me, poetry is a way of communicating with my soul. It is kind of a meditation, only I focus on the everything within rather than the nothing. If you understand what I mean…..Just felt like sharing 🙂

  2. “Writing poetry through art, on the caves of their mind”–how beautifully true.

  3. I think poetry has to be simple and the poet has to find key words that lead the reader to fill the blanks in between with its own imagination! I admire your poetry because it’s simple and with a few stitches of words you create a whole concept that pleases me to read. Thank you Neha! 🙂

  4. Lovely poem and reflections Neha. I have the same questions and feelings bouncing around as you and Line. And then I try to remember that we all express in our own way and not to compare or hold back. Sometimes I listen to love and sometimes the fear. 🙂

please click on original thanks 🙂

  6. Soooo beautiful Neha. I agree. I like to think of poetry like this. God is the great poet, and we are his poems. We co-create them with Him.
    🙂 ❤ Happy Easter.
