Random Blog Tip :101

Please, Please, Please, have your blogging website listed under your gravatar…there have been many times when I have clicked on a gravatar icon from a like I have received and there was no website listed for me to follow…I usually go back the long way from my email…but a lot of people might not take the time to do that and would most likely go on to the next person…and you don’t want to lose traffic that easy do you? 😀

  1. Reblogged this on ronovanwrites and commented:
    Yeah, what she said.

  2. You do know people are now thinking “What’s a Gravatar? Is that the sequel to Avatar?”

    • haha well may be you can have post on that 😀 but you know what, I figured it out after a few days in myself so I won’t blame them for being lost 🙂 Thanks for the reblog!

  3. This is an ongoing issue that I gave up on. When I see this, I click away and no longer hunt the author down if you take my meaning. Rather annoying.

    • haha yes I hear you, I was feeling a little annoyed myself so I wrote this post …as I do want to genuinely look up the person who is following my work…:D Hope they are listening whoever they are 🙂

  4. I guess I am one of them…I changed my blogaddress twice…I dont think so I updated it…but thanks for sharing this…I will change it as soon as possible 🙂

  5. I followed this reblog from Ronovan’s blog, thank you for posting this! Much to learn, I still have 😉

  6. I just blog their Gravatar name, but including the blog would make things soooo much easier!

  7. Good point, now I am not sure I even know if it is set up that way or if I know how…LOL

    • haha no worries if you go under my account there should be a link to your gravatar profile under web address…you have to log in and then I think you can add photos or websites 🙂 Hope that helps…

  8. Ii agree. I think some people don’t understand how it all works.

  9. Word Press 101 on the daily post was quite helpful in me making the most of my gravatar.
