Moment

Embrace each moment,

like the wind embraces the sky,

with infinite possibilities it flies high,

blowing the clouds that stand in the way,

telling the sky its there to stay,

in the moment.

  1. Oh to be in the moment. Life is so much better that way! Thanks for the reminder πŸ™‚

  2. Sky possibilities embrace flies telling infinite moment to like blowing. πŸ™‚

  3. Perfect.

  4. Good comparison! I like the way you are saying the clouds may move, but the sky is a constant. I think being in the moment, is sometimes hard to do, but highly recommend its results and leading a calmer life, too! Smiles, Robin

  5. To live in the moment is the way to being truly alive. Great poem!

  6. I believe this is my new favorite of all your poems, Neha.

Your words are elegant and calming. filling me with an inner peace as I read them. I love the way you start with transitory concepts like “moments” and “infinite possibilities” finishing with the consistency and permanence of the sky.

Thank you for your beautiful words.

    Very Best Regards,
    Eric

  8. Neha, I love this one. Embracing each moment is so important. We miss life if we don’t. I wrote a post once about living in the now, not lamenting the past and not always looking to the future. Have you seen the movie, “Peaceful Warrior”. It is amazing. I think you’d really like it. One of my favorite quotes from it is, “There are no ordinary moments”.

  9. Living in the Moment is so extraordinary, yet it can often take most of your life to figure out precisely how to do it. GREAT verse my friend!

    • Thank you so much Morgan, and yes sometimes life and time gets the better of you and you rush past every moment until the time you have to look behind and ponder on them πŸ™‚

  10. I have tears on this one. Thank you, Neha! Bless you! Love, Amy

  11. Oh I like the spirit of the wind–very nice thought to ponder, and make personal.
