Translation

For that moment…

you stopped listening,

to the ‘foreign’ words,

coming out the mouth…

and you paid attention,

to the eyes…

and those words,

landed on your soul…

crystal clear,

without translation.

Greeting Summer

You ran bare-feet to greet it at the door,

like you had many times before,

through the barren streams and moors,

forgetting your daily chores…

with the breeze blowing your hair wild,

you ran with the  inner child,

in your heart…

you ran bare-feet to greet summer at the door,

of spring.

Happy Friday!

Those mornings when your eyes refuse to open,

and you wish it was the weekend…

and you wake up with with sigh,

thinking you are just a day shy,

but as the sun hits your face,

you are ready to embrace,

the alluring ‘almost’ of Friday,

happy.
