Yes, it does. I was talking with a blogger I met when I started out, 3 yrs ago (we were blessed to meet in person, and as she lives fairly near, we talk on the phone), and she has repeatedly told me that my writing has gotten better, stronger in these almost 3 yrs. So there really is something to being in the “community”, where we’re reading, and being read–that sharpens our skills.
