Quiet Rain of Early Mornings

Quiet rain of early mornings,

lulls you back to sleep,

and you wish you could lay a little longer,

with your daydreams…

under the comfort of warm blankets.

quiet rain

  1. How lovely!! πŸ™‚ Oh, how I long for the Monsoon!!

  2. I love rain a lot….. You have truly described it… loved it

  3. Your lovely little poem sums up perfectly just how nice it is snuggling safe and warm and litening to the comfort of rainfall. I do love walking in soft rain though, the smell, the feel on my skin and then the freshness afterwards…Mmm.

  4. With this cover, please, let me have all the rain in the world … πŸ™‚

  5. That was me this morning…

  6. Lovely post.

  7. Oh, I have SO been there! Nice memories of the rainy weather from here in 90 degree California! (Makes me want to go back to bed anyway. πŸ˜‰ )

  8. Ummmmm, sounds nice. I know how this feels. It’s a melancholic sort of feel. And quite difficult after having kids. But the feel of it is still vivid in my mind. Your poem helped me go to that place (especially since it’s cooling off here and a little grey outside today.)
