Night’s musings on the moonbeam

I stay up all night,

and follow my waking dreams,

resting my mind,

on the moonbeam,

lighting the sky.

Sometimes I cherish,

the unsaid words in your eyes,

more than any word spoken,

sometimes. 

Flood

Rain falls,

on the house of cards,

flooding the castle,

of  Queen of hearts.

I greet the new dawn,

of free seas,

with no shadows of tides,

from yesterday.
