My little lantern which lit,
when sun hid in the grey sky,
My map in darkness which glowed,
enabling me to fly,
into the light.
Thoughts escape the mind in the cool breeze,
As the sun falls from its grace,
different souls travel on their boats,
gently kissing the sea’s face,
The eagles and the kingfishers,
All fly to their nest…
The clouds get dotted with orange,
as the sun sets…
And You and I get left behind,
with the water, on our boat,
to rest.
Sometimes in the quietness of my thoughts,
my tears cleanse my mind,
to find the path to my smiles,
again.
You are the strongest winds in the storm,
You are brightest rays of the dawn…
You are free falling to the ground,
You are flying high beyond the cloud,
You are the quietest and the loudest sound…
You are war and you are peace,
You are here and you are out of reach,
You are the strongest winds in the storm,
You are the brightest rays of the dawn.
