Ohhh what an image for these words. It’s sad isn’t it? Such gloriousness behind bars. It’s a reflection of how love should not be and what we do here to contain love. That peacock is aboslutely fantastic!

I’ve been thinking about this one. As it is, it is a sad reminder…but it also stirs something else in me, a deeper desire to celebrate. Permit me to offer:
this world
can only confine our bodies
it has no power
to keep us
from dancing
